Crazy day on the river today. Decided to make a dumb decision and leave my Arcteryx sweater(with cash in it) on the bank before the tide coming in, then started drifting down river moments later. I tried grabbing it but was wading so deep, I forgot my Iphone and autostart were in my pocket and got submerged in water. Then a bee buzzed right in my ear so I smacked it (and myself) so hard from frustration I actually fell in the river resulting with cold glacier water pilling in my Simms waders. Determined to retrieve my sweater though, I hiked about 2 miles downstream soaking wet and with water still in my waders before finally obtaining it. I just decided after to call it a day. On the bright side however, before taking off my sweater, I was catching fish one after the other.
