Credit Controller Location:Tuas Working hours: 8.30am - 5.30pm(Mon-Fri) Responsibilities: -Main area of responsibility is oversight over the credit control function of theGroup. -To enforce to the Credit Control SOP in opening new accounts and the approval of credit and cash transactions. -To assist Management in negotiating, managing and maintaining adequate credit insurance coverage across the Group. -To conduct, and to ensure credit checks and updates are conducted periodically. -To chase and follow up on outstanding debts via telephone and email. -To prepare and report credit risks assessment on a monthly and quarterly basis to Management and the Risk Committee. -Ad hoc duties as assigned. Requirements: -Candidates must possess at least a minimum a Advanced diploma / Degree in Accountancy or its equivalent. -Minimum 2 years experience in credit control and collection function. -Background in international wholesale and distribution of commercial and industrial products is an added advantage. -Good acumen in credit control and processing. -Able to work independently and has strong integrity. -Willing to travel.
