Crenshaw Closure Phase III January 4 - 12, 2015 Dear Community member, Crenshaw Bl will undergo one more closure of seven consecutive days in order to support excavation and decking activities for construction of the underground Exposition Station. Crenshaw Bl will be closed 24/7 between Exposition Bl and Rodeo Rd starting January 4, 9PM, through January 12, 6AM. Traffic on Rodeo Rd Eastbound and Westbound will be maintained Upon completion of these closures and work activities for the Exposition Station, construction will continue below Crenshaw Bl with minimal impact to the traveling public throughout the remainder of station construction. The traveling public is advised to please plan ahead to avoid traffic delays during the full closure of Crenshaw Bl. Traffic control measures and signage will be implemented throughout the closure. Detour routes have been approved by the City of Los Angeles. Access to local area businesses in the vicinity of construction will be maintained. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout construction, but will be re-routed around the construction work zone. Due to the temporary closure of Crenshaw Bl there will be no direct Metro bus service to the Expo/Crenshaw Expo Rail Station. Lines 210, 710, and 740 northbound will be detoured via Arlington Av between Jefferson and MLK Bl. Lines 210, 710, and 740 southbound will be detoured via Western Av between Jefferson and MLK Bl. Bus stops are being relocated for both directions of travel along Crenshaw Bl. Metro will post signs at affected stops to inform of alternative boarding locations.
