Crews are busy installing about 16,000 temporary seats at AT&T Stadium in Arlington in preparation for the 2014 NCAA Men’s Final Four on April 5 and April 7. The college basketball semifinals and the championship game are expected to draw between 80,000 and 85,000 fans, which would set records for Final Four attendance, organizers say. The temporary seats, which take about 10 days to set up, are installed on risers that cover the existing stadium bowl seats but are at a different angle to improve fans view of the basketball court, officials said. The seating configuration, designed by HKS Architects, is very similar to what was used during the NCAA Men’s Southern Regional held in Arlington last year. The court, which will be raised 29 inches off the stadium floor, is expected to be installed Friday and the goals and score boards installed over the weekend.
