Crews from Union Pacific are working to get a train, that derailed earlier this morning, back on the tracks. A spokesperson for Union Pacific says the accident happened around 2:30 a.m. on US Route 730, just south of the Washington-Oregon border. The train was heading west from Spokane to Hinkle, Oregon. There are currently 13 empty rail cars off the track, 4 of which are in the water. The spokesperson says the cars are not leaking any sediment into the Columbia River, but theyve put in silt fencing as a precaution. There are no injuries and traffic is moving smoothly. Union Pacific is investigating the cause. - Zac Summers
