By Sam Nda-Isaiah in 2008 on Leadership News just came that after receiving heavy firepower and recording heavy casualties, the Niger Delta militants are now calling for a ceasefire. I have never heard anywhere in the world where criminals call for a ceasefire. They only hand themselves over to the police. The Nigerian military must go ahead and flatten all the creeks until all the criminals are either killed or arrested. Unless, of course, they are ready to hand themselves over to the authorities for trial. There is no difference between the armed robber in Lagos, Abuja, Minna, Enugu, or Sokoto, and the Niger Delta militant. They are no freedom fighters. They are bloody murderers, kidnappers, economic saboteurs and oil thieves. Nothing more, nothing less!
