Crisis of knowledge is the deep rooted cause of all the other crisis like economic, political, climate, etc. There is a spiritual essence that need to be addressed. But we are immersed at the superficial level and look for solutions there. Unfortunately the mainstream educational system which has its own philosophy (we often tend to neglect) is completely ignorant or purposefully ignored this aspect. Where did things go wrong. ... Shaykh Hamza Yusuf addresses these issues in this talk which I believe all people, particularly those involved in learning and teaching (which everyone of us do in some capacity) should hear, ponder and act on ASAP.
