Critcize A Sholar? Ok, but never insult or ridicule him! Your heart dies before your body! We have to be careful in judging a Scholar (3Alim). A scholar has many years of experience in Islam and special islamic topics. He had to be a Hafiz (memorization of Quran) and Mufassir (interpretation of Quran) as a child before he was allowed to start training to get a Scholar of Islam. Ibn Asaakir, rahimahullaah, said: Know, O my brother - may Allaah awaken you and I to His pleasure; and make us of those who have piety in Him as we should have, that the flesh of the scholars is poisonous. It is well known that Allaah will expose those who seek to revile and belittle them; and that whosoever unleashes his tongue by insulting and belittling the scholars, then Allaah will cause his heart to die before he actually dies. Narrated / Authority Of: Abu Hurairah “The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: ‘Whoever seeks knowledge in order to argue with the foolish, or to show off before the scholars, or to attract people’s attention, Allah will admit him to Hell.’” (Daif) We´re one Ummah, we need our Scholars for new developements. We cannot refer to Scholars who died a long time beofre and who cannot make reference to new developements which are controversial.
