Criticism is like throwing stones at people. It can hurt them even more than physical stones. But what did Yeshua say about such a behavior? He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her- John 8:7. Yeshua here showed that we all have areas in our life where our weaknesses make us vulnerable to criticism which is a negative judgment. Since this is the case, shouldnt we be so invested in self improvement that we have no time left to criticize others? A person who criticizes others is like a man whose farm has weeds but rather than investing his time weeding out his farm, he spends it telling his neighbour farmer where the weeds are in his farm. Life can be very cruel and you can never tell what may be going on in a person. If we are going to say anything about a person, lets rather sow seeds of appreciation rather than criticism.
