Crowd-Sourced Stop Killing Cyclists Press Office? Right - I - TopicsExpress

Crowd-Sourced Stop Killing Cyclists Press Office? Right - I would like to try a little experiment? We got great London media coverage for yesterdays protest about failure of Londons Boroughs to install segregated cycle lanes over the last 4 years since the last elections. However, we did not have the resources to contact the local press in each of the 24 Boroughs that reported Zero installed since last elections or the 13 Boroughs that reported none ever installed or to praise the 3 boroughs that actually did install some. So am looking to see if we can create a Stop Killing Cyclists crowd-sourced press-operation? To do this, you simply look up the table of replies in Wills report and adapt the press release to include your boroughs performance and send it to your local paper. You can also use my pic below (anybody else happy to allow use of their pics?) So do you live in any of the following boroughs and like to be a crowd-sourced Stop Killing Press office for a day? 8-) Please let us know if you can in this thread and happy to advise/help. ta Donnachadh x Camden Greenwich Hackney (Steve I think is doing this one?) Hammersmith and Fulham Islington Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Lambeth Lewisham Southwark (Abby Taubin has volunteered for this) Tower Hamlets Wandsworth (Lucie Thompson to try and send something today) 8-) Westminster Barking and Dagenham Barnet Bexley Brent Bromley (Evey Allsop volunteered to do this) 8-) Croydon Ealing Enfield Haringey Harrow Havering Hillingdon Hounslow Kingston upon Thames Merton Newham Redbridge Richmond upon Thames Sutton Waltham Forest( Diana Korchien is tackling this one)
