Crowdsourcing my home computing question: I have an old desktop I use at home that is running Windows XP. I know Windows no longer supports XP. When I bought it years and years ago, it was cool. It still does what I need it to do. I run the free version of Avast on it. Have I subjected myself to all kinds of horrendous hacking and abuse? Should I immediately shut it down and sell it for scrap to the Jawas? I am IT illiterate, so any advice is appreciated.
