Crucial election today in Latin America in one of the biggest economies in the world, Brazil. Yet on CNN International homepage, not a thing about it. Note this is the International version of CNN, not the dumbed-down-for-Americans CNN main site, yet its ignored entirely. The Latin America section of CNN International must have it though, right? Wrong. Only coverage a sidebar of Wacky Brazil Campaign Videos and no actual coverage of this very important election that has major consequences for political alignments and trade throughout the Americas and beyond, including on the USA. Nor is there any coverage at all at that page of the hotly-contested Uruguay election in 3 weeks, with smaller economy but very similar political choices and blocs / trade future direction in play. From South America I send a big middle finger to CNN. But dont get me wrong, this is not just against admittedly now for stupid inattentive people as their target demographic CNN. Its for US politicians of both parties who ignore Latin America until someone corporatocracy interests want their puppets in Congress and the White House to invade or topple democratically elected governments. And to the general mindset of the American People, my fellow citizens, who mostly ignore and otherwise often stereotype these great nations of the rest of America. Shame!
