Cruelest things Ive done to Max, my six year old son: 1. Told him he could breathe through his eyes & watched him cover his nose / mouth, going red faced for an hour. 2. Took the Chuckie doll out of the Good Guys box, left it on the floor & asked him why hed taken Chuckie out of the box. 3. Watched A.I. & told him thats where he came from. He asked me why (unlike the kid in the film) he could eat; I told him he was an advanced model who was programmed to believe he was human & could even eat human food. 4. (Ongoing) tell him that Oscar (our cat) can speak, but only to me when Max isnt around & that Oscar tells me Max watches Barbie cartoons when Im not around. First there was disbelief - then he gave Oscar an evil look & yelled HES LYING!!!
