Crystal is looking for suggestions: I have a three year old Dane who sleeps on the floor beside my bed 5-6 nights out of the week. Sometimes he will sleep downstairs by himself. Regardless where he sleeps at night he is like an alarm clock in the morning. He wakes up at 5 and gets into bed with me when my husband gets out. We call it his snuggle time. However, we just rented a cabin in the woods for the snowmobile season and our room is on the second floor of steep stairs. Every morning he cant get up the stairs he cries and cries. I need help to get him to stop. Right now I get up and go sleep on the couch because I cant bear to hear him cry for me. Ive tried letting him get worn out but after 35-45 min my heart breaks. Hes 41 at his shoulders so carrying him is out of the question. Thanks a bunch!
