*Curious about our 30 minute check-in cutoff?* Heres the inside scoop: We cannot START loading until the check in process has completed — this means our pilots and cargo agents have 30 minutes OR LESS to get the flight loaded safely, cargo strapped in completely, seats installed correctly, and the FAA weight and balance completed. All of these tasks along with the flight preparation of the aircraft are VERY IMPORTANT in the process of ensuring the safety of the flight, the safety of the passengers. This is why we —and most every other airline in the air—has a check-in deadline. However, we do not set our policies according to what other airlines are doing. We do the best we can to keep THIS operation safe. We do occasionally make check-in exceptions, but we are really trying to curtail these for obvious safety issues ESPECIALLY in winter conditions, which can make this process take longer, and even if everyone is checked in on time, can still delay a flight.
