Liberia closes most of its border crossings in a measure to fight off deadly spread of Ebola virus. - The virus has so far claimed 660 deaths across the West African region in countries like Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone. - The fatal and highly contagious virus is infamous for its capability to kill 90 percent of its victims. - Its symptoms include vomiting and diarrhoea as well as internal and external bleeding. 2. Centre inaugurates an online platform named MyGov to engage citizens in contributing to governance and Surajya. - National Informatics Centre (NIC), Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY) would implement and manage the platform. - The platform has been divided into various groups namely Clean Ganga, Girl Child Education, Clean India, Skilled India, Digital India, Job Creation. - Each group consists of online and onground tasks that can be taken up by the contributors. 3.
