Current Situation: Please remain aware today for the potential of a significant severe weather outbreak. With the current conditions in place, the right trigger may spawn storms that can cause severe damage. We will continue to update with information we receive from the National Weather Service in Shreveport. Expect most severe storms (especially if they are supercells) to be accompanied with Tornado Warnings per NWS Shreveport. They state all of these storms may not produce tornadoes but it will be done out of an abundance of caution because of the volatility in the environment. A Tornadic storm may develop very rapidly and every second will count.
