¤ Current affairs- 03 July ¤ 1) Inclusion of which three districts into the National Capital Region (NCR) was approved by the NCR planning Board in its meeting held on 1 July 2013? – Bharatpur, Bhiwani and Mahendragarh (Bharatpur district is in Rajasthan whereas Bhiwani and Mahendragarh are in Haryana. With inclusion of these three districts, the area under NCR will be further expanded. NCR now includes National Capital Territory (NCT) comprising of Delhi and New Delhi, 9 districts of Haryana (Bhiwani, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Jhajjar, Mahendragarh, Panipat, Rohtak, Rewari and Sonipat), 2 districts of Rajasthan (Alwar and Bharatpur) and 6 districts of Uttar Pradesh (Baghpat, Bulandshahr, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Ghaziabad, Hapur and Meerut)
