Currently Serving: Café La Conchita - Guatemalan Coffee Catuai and Borbon Varieties, Shade grown, SHG classified (Strictly High Grown) Coffee, altitude 5,000 feet. Fairly traded and direct sourced from the farmer, Jay Martin. Jay Martin and his family are working to provide a sustainable economy for the local community of Quetzaltenango, Guatemala. The Martin family believes that this is an out working of their faith meeting daily life, and a portion of their mission outreach in the community. Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, home of Hacienda La Conchita is situated near several volcanoes in the heart of the Sierra Madres, 200 kilometers west of Guatemala City. Hacienda La Conchita uses sustainable practices by generating power to process their coffee through the use of a water wheel powered by fresh water mountain springs. The Little Bake Shoppe is excited to offer this fine Guatemalan Estate coffee in conjunction with our local small batch roaster The Fig & Bean located in West Columbia, SC.
