Currently in the SIDESPACE GALLERY: Now they Speak – The Ancestors of Time exhibition and storytelling evenings by Clare Noble In 1998, Clare Noble ventured into the Central Australian Desert from Victoria to ask permission about her artwork. She was taken to a Senior Law Arrente Leader, the late Wneton Rubuntja. After viewing Clare’s artwork, he adopted her and requested she share her story and artwork – “with all my people, all people and the big seas people”. Clare has been travelling, sharing her artwork and story throughout Australia for 15 years meeting Senior Elders, their families and others who are interested in our First Peoples. Clare the artists will be attending her exhibition daily.
