Currently revisiting one of my favourites from il maestro, Dario Argento; Phenomena. Whilst my favourite of his is, and probably always will be, Suspiria, Id reccomend this over Suspiria for Arento newcomers. Its a lot more coherent and not as artsy or weird as Suspiria but it still has a lot of Argentos flare for the strange and nightmarish. Plus, its got Donald Pleasence as well as Bruce Dickinson on the soundtrack (frankly, its nice to have two local famous people involved with stuff like this) as well as Labyrinth-era Jennifer Connelly and a chimp.
