Currently working as an Immigration Advisor based at Farani Javid Taylor LLP at City of London, having previously worked as a Level 2 (OISC) Immigration Advisor in London for over three years. Israel Monte was awarded a master degree (LLM) in European Union Law with Merit by University of Westminster in 2011 and is currently studying a post degree course and converting his law degree from Brazil into a British Law Degree. Israel Monte arrived in to the UK in September 2005 seeking to enhance his own potential and legal skills. He is specialized in UK Immigration Law and European Union law and attended several courses promoted by the Joint Council for the Welfare of Immigrants (JCWI) and the Immigration Law Practitioners Association (ILPA). Israel Monte has given lectures and Seminars in the UK and in Brazil on immigration matters involving Brazil, the United Kingdom and the European Union. Furthermore, he has contributed to the Brazilian community and Latin community by answering the readers’ questions for a London’s local newspaper named “Brazilian News.” Most questions were concerned to UK Immigration Law and its implications to immigrants. Israel Monte has also participated in TV and Radio interviews broadcasted both in London and in Portugal. Israel Monte is now focused on helping the Brazilian and Latin American community in matters involving immigration law, European Union law and family law.
