Curtis Stevens TKO10 Tureano Johnson -- A phone booth war was initiated in the first round by Johnson, an effective tactic. Same pace in the second but even worse for Stevens who took critical abuse to the body. Johnson continued his deliberate attack in the third round and he took Stevens best punches in the fourth and fifth without falling. The second half of the fight was a battle of wills fought on the inside and on the ropes. Johnson effectively used his size advantage to bully Stevens throughout. With a minute left in the final round, Stevens unloaded two lethal left hooks, and Johnson wobbled, to bring about a controversial referee stoppage which was obviously very beneficial to the house fighter.
