Customer Services Manager The British Council is the UK’s International organisation for educational opportunities and cultural relations. The British Council invites applications from qualified candidates for the following vacancy at its Khartoum office: Customer Services Manager Job Aim: To develop and deliver the British Council Sudan’s Customer Service strategies in order to achieve the business targets of British Council products and services. Main Responsibilities: This post will manage the Customer Services team at the British Council office in Khartoum. It is accountable for the delivery of high quality customer services to customers of the Teaching Centre, our examinations services, and all other customers who have an interest in interacting with the British Council. The post manages a team of full time Customer Services staff including rotating interns and temporary staff. Key duties are: • Delivery of Sudan Customer Service Strategy This entails developing a country specific strategy and plans in consultation with key teaching, exams and programmes stakeholders and the regional Customer Services lead • Development of services and systems that meet both customer and operational needs - Implement customer and market analysis and research and feedback processes and analyse the data )including corporate ‘Scorecard’ data( to inform service quality development. • Effective and efficient management of customer service resource. • Financial and registration management - Manage aaccurate and timely financial and registration processes and reporting for teaching centre and exams teams. • Supporting the marketing and communications team — support the implementation and delivery of teaching centre and exams marketing and communication strategies. • Line management of the Customer Services team - In accordance to corporate performance management system, lead the Customer Services team in delivering agreed strategy and plans, monitoring progress and reviewing as required. • To manage and monitor our online presence e.g. Website, Facebook, twitter to ensure that information is up to date and our works’ impact to be communicated to the targeted audience as per our brand guidelines. Skills and Qualifications: • University Degree, postgraduate qualification is plus • At least 4 years working in a reputable client focused organization. • High level of Arabic and English language )IELTS 7 or above equivalent( skills.
