Cut//Copy - The one band I cannot describe with words.. But ill try. Dreams of playing synthpop psychodelica have not stopped since Liz Oh introduced me to In Ghost Colours about 5 years ago. I was convinced they were and are the only band outside of Neon Indian that layers an incredible amount of layered synthesizers, sampled vocals, and acoustic/electronic drums while keeping the message, the chords, the beat(tempo) simplistic, poppy and danceable. If you have not listened to In Ghost Colours you really should, that album resides at the top of my list for over 2 years when I rediscovered how much I was missing in the layers of the composition. Listen to it twice, youll understand. The whole discography is worth spending an afternoon on, the new ep that came out last week is below. See you at the concert May 23rd.
