Cutest pirate ever! Just had a bubble bath and now all cuddled up watching Elmo:) We have had a really good and busy week this week. We got Charlies vision checked. His eyes are functioning properly, which I never thought that they werent but its nice to get that reassurance from a doctor:) He is a little farsighted but not enough to need glasses. Therapy went well too. They gave us a new temporary wheel chair that is a better fit for Charlie. It has better head support than the last one. No more having to hold his head while strolling around:):):) it is much more heavier but that is ok. My arms could use the extra work out. Lol. (We are still waiting on insurance to go through to get Charlies permanent chair.) Cohens card drive was awesome! Thank you everyone for making him feel super special. And a special thanks to my sister Rachel for putting it all together. It really meant a lot to our whole family. And also it was Charlies first family gathering that took place outside of our home so that made our family dinner that much more special. And with all your cards you all sent, that made yall apart of it too:) Charlies blinking for yes is going very well! When asking if he wants or likes something he will blink blink. And sometimes he doesnt so I assume no blinking means no. Next week I am going to start working with Charlie on turning his head for no. I will keep yall posted and hopefully get it on video so I can share it with you all. And finally, I had a meeting with our school district this morning. Charlie will be able to start special needs preschool classes after he turns 3 this December. I am very excited to announce that he will be attending preschool at Farmington with his older brother!!! Thank yall for all the prayers. Keep them up. God is so good!!! I am so happy and thankful for all this progress Charlie is continuing to show us:) he is my little warrior!
