D & I Operator Under the direction of the D&I supervisor or, the operations coordinator, responsible for operating all D&I equipment, the execution and documentation of quality checks, line performance measurements such as efficiencies/yields and the performance of planned maintenance all while operating within a team environment. Tools used may include: Ratchets/sockets, screw drivers, pliers, feeler gauges, hammers, micrometers, quality assurance gauges and other instruments, as directed, or required by the personal tool list. Operators manuals and product specification information. Personal computer informational systems. Essential Duties: •Operate all D&I equipment. •Perform and maintain documentation of quality assurance sampling, production and maintenance records. •Perform machinery adjustments as needed to insure compliance with product specifications and quality standards. •Perform repairs, lubrications and planned maintenance, as directed. •Maintains knowledge and understanding of operating manuals and bulletins. •Relieve others as required. •Compliance with safe work habits and established safety procedures. •Complete scheduled training and development to progress to a higher level of competency and proficiency in a team environment. •Keep work area clean and orderly and disposed of refuse as needed. Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor. 1.Previous manufacturing experience preferred. 2.Previous minor maintenance experience preferred. 3.Clear criminal history, HS/GED, ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift. 4.Must pass all pre-screening criteria.
