DAILY BIBLE READING Fri. 1/8/2014 Innocent of The Blood of All Men Acts 20:17-31 God brings us in contact with unbelieving men and women so that we can preach to them the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our encounter with the various people we meet on daily basis is not accidental, it is pre-arranged by God as opportunity for us to win them to Christ. When we fail to utilise the opportunity, the people will die in their sin and God will hold us responsible for their going to hell. Paul preached the whole truth about salvation to all the people whom he met. He could boldly say that he was not guilty of the blood of any man. If anyone went to hell it was not because Paul failed to preach the true gospel to that one. Can you say the same thing about that relative, neighbour or colleague? Would anyone challenge you on the last day that he would not have gone to hell if you preached to him? Point of Emphasis: Preach the gospel to those you meet so that you will be innocent of all men’s blood. Prayer Point: Father, give me the grace to preach faithfully to all You bring my way.
