DAILY BREAD Lazarus Ministries Intl SATAN IS DEFEATED October 19th, 2013 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.(Col 2:15) For years I was tormented by Satans forces that took advantage of my ignorance.Now I understand what the scripture says, My people perish for lack of knowledge. I never knew why I thought the way I did and why I did the things I did. When God revealed to me that messengers from Satan were sent to me in my mind, to destroy me at a young age, I was filled with fear. I obtained faith through this word in Colossians that tells us no matter what the devil tries to do that Jesus has disarmed Satan. Jesus had not annihilated the enemy, but again He disarmed him. A disarmed enemy will constantly try to regain strength through lies and fear tactics. That does not mean that he is rearmed. The only power the enemy has is the power we give him through sin in our lives, whether it be doubt, fear, unbelief or anything out of Gods will being practiced in our lives. I now live a fear free and overcoming life through Christ Jesus who has put every principality and power to open shame. Thanks be to God who always causes us to triumph! Satan is defeated by the Blood of the Lamb, by the word of our testimony and by loving not our lives unto the death. Satan is defeated!
