DAILY FILM POOL: A message and film from Nathan Gibson and Marcus Sarko... Dear Friends, We are writing to tell you about a short documentary we made earlier this year as part of the Archive Sheffield Project. It was screened for the first time at the Showroom cinema in Sheffield and also appeared as part of The Tactile Image exhibition at Castle House during the biannual Festival of the Mind last September. Some of you may have already seen but would love to share it with you again as its something we are really proud of and such we have decided to share it online. It was conceived out of Clives PhD research which involved the recording of peoples lives within Sheffield through the mediums of photography and film. Sadly Clive passed away earlier this year and we felt it important to continue the Archive Sheffield project making and publicising new work exploring the city around us.
