Lets make this our motto in this HOLY SEASON OF LENT, AS WE PRAY GOD TO HELP US, AMEN. Brethren, todays 1st reading focuses on CHOICE MAKING. Is there anyone who will prefer POVERTY TO WEALTH, SICKNESS TO SOUND HEALTH, TREKKING TO RIDING IN AN A/C FITTED RANGE ROVER SPORT, FAILURE TO SUCCESS, SERVANT TO OGA, HARSH, SMOKER, DRUNKEN HUSBAND TO CARING, ROMANTIC & DECENT HUSBAND, BARRENNESS TO CHILDREN IN YOUR MARRIAGE, GOOD & QUALITY EDUCATION TO MEDIOCRITY, IDLENESS TO WORKING, HATE TO LOVE, BACKWARD TO FORWARD, ETC? We all like good things bcoz life itself is good from a good God. This morning, Moses tells d people of ISREAL TO CHOOSE BETWEEN LIFE & PROSPERITY, DEATH & ADVERSITY. Just like nobody will intentionally deep hands into fire to be burnt, so also nobody will see life & prefer death, blessings & prefer curses. The only condition given is, OBEY THE PRECEPTS OF THE LORD. Brethren, we know that we are WEAK & FRAIL HUMAN BEINGS CAPABLE OF ERRING. BUT LENT IS A SEASON OF GRACE & MERCY. As we continue our Lent of 40 days, let us pray for d GRACE OF DISCERNMENT TO MAKE RIGHT DECISIONS & CHOICES THAT WILL LEAD US TO D PROMISED LAND. Let us always remember d 4 last things that will count after our life on earth: Death, Judgement, heaven or hell. MAKE US KNOW D SHORTNESS OF OUR LIVES O LORD, THAT WE MAY GAIN WISDOM OF HEART, AMEN.
