DAILY VICTORY DEVOTIONAL SUNDAY DECEMBER 07, 2014 TOPIC: SACRIFICE – THE COVENANT BOOSTER GOLDEN SCRIPTURE: Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice. And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. PSALM 50: 5 – 6. The word ‘SACRIFICE’ means something that is wholly given up; something that has a prize attached to it. A SACRIFICE is something that is very important to you, but you give it up so that you can obtain a more important thing. 1 Samuel 1: 1 – Anything that is too heavy for you to give to God is that thing that you have not acknowledged that it was God that gave it to you.For who maketh thee to differ from another? And what hast thou that thou didst not receive? Now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it? 1 Corinthians 4:7 When God calls for your sacrifice, your motive is on test, your love is on test. The altar of sacrifice is God’s place of encounter with men. BENEFITS OF THE SACRIFICE: It opens the heavens – Genesis 8: 20 – 22 It provokes divine intervention – 1 Chronicles 21 – 26 Divine provision – Genesis 22: 12 – 18 Supernatural release, increase, and speed – Psalm 126: 1 - 6 Divine wisdom to rule your world – 1 kings 3: 3 – 13. Sets you above all the nations of the world. As you willingly sacrifice to God this month, heaven will open for you in the mighty name of Jesus. Angels shall proclaim God’s blessing before you; God’s covenant of wealth shall be released to you and supernatural increase and speed shall be yours in Jesus name, Amen! PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I lay up my life and substance wholly to you today as a living sacrifice because I wouldn’t have gotten this far without you. BIBLE IN ONE YEAR PLAN: Daniel 5 – 7; 2 John 1.
