DAMN its been an awesome weekend. All kinds of stuff that Ive been (ominously) talking about for awhile now is finally falling into place. So piece by piece Ill be sharing more with you, starting with this right here. That song I released the other day was actually for a competition called One Shot brought together by Crooked I, one part of Slaughterhouse for those of you that may not be familiar. And if you arent, I highly suggest you familiarize yourself less you dont like insanely talented musicians. But this competition is giving people like myself a shot to make my dream a complete reality. Think The Voice or Americas Got Talent, but specifically for rappers. So Ive entered myself into this competition to compete with other rappers for a major record deal with SMH records!!! This is across eight cities across the country (which means Id be competing live on TV!) to find the most talented one. So, if you could check out my submission, share your thoughts and with your friends, it would mean the absolute world to me. The official auditions arent until January which means we only have a few months to get this video out now! Even if youve never checked out my music before, I promise you that youll find something to appreciate in it. Your favorite artist was once in my same shoes, just asking for a chance to be heard. I have a huge opportunity to be able to have just that, and I would be forever grateful for anyone and everyone who understands ambition, determination, and hope against hope enough to lend an ear for less than a minute and a half.
