SATURDAY 31ST AUGUST AT 12.30 PM - ‘The Torr Sale’. Annual sale of 2,500 Suffolk/Chev and Mule ewe and wether lambs. This sale includes only sheep from the Torr head area, an area famous for it well doing stock, coming of hardy limestone hills, giving excellent bone and growth. The entry includes approximately 1,000 top quality Suff/Chev ewe lambs. Now held in Armoy Mart. By prior entry only. SATURDAY 12TH OCTOBER AT 12 NOON -‘NI Blue Leicester Club’ - 4rd Annual show and sale of Blue Leicester rams and ram lambs. Top quality rams assured from all the top producers. SATURDAY 19TH OCTOBER AT 12.00 NOON - ‘Ram Fair’. All breeds of rams and ram lambs - no prior entry required. Suckled calf, show and sales to commence end of September and continue throughout October and November. Our Wednesday night sales will continue each week and are open to everyone. We welcome livestock from all farming areas. We are now located in our new Livestock Mart at 15 Cookeeran Road, Armoy, County Antrim, BT5 3XL. All our traditional seasonal sales are conducted in the new mart which is fully covered. All Livestock is sold through our sale ring for better viewing and vetting. Canteen & toilet facilities are available. Paddocks are available for overnight accommodation of livestock. Haulage can be arranged to and from the mart if required. The North Antrim area is famous for producing good quality healthy livestock, regularly dosed, well bred and coming off the North Antrim hills gives them excellent growing and thriving quality. Most common sheep breeds include Suffolks, Blue Leicesters, Texels and Larnark black face. We also conduct farm machinery & plant sales at regular intervals and can conduct clearance sales on or off the premises. Anywhere throughout Northern Ireland, no distance too far.
