DARPA is working on a device that can turn of the belief center in the human brain. The theory being that if you find an Islamic terrorist, if you turn of his faith you will be able to extract intel you could not otherwise. I hope they are successful. I hope someone build one that can be used for the whole planet. I hope who ever builds it uses it one time. Turn off the religious cognitive dissonance for a few short minutes. Then broadcast across all channels on the planet: Christians, Muslims and Jews. You all believe in the same God. All your religions command and demand peace. Every time any of you kills any of the others, even in retaliation, you demonstrate to the rest of us that your religion is full of shit. You are full of shit. And if your God has allowed you to do that for 1000s of years, he is full of shit, too. Then I would leave the device on for a good maybe half hour to let is sink in real hard and deep.
