DAY #2: ISAIAH’S PROPHECY – Ever stop to think of the word “Immanuel?” Consider that Isaiah prophesied, “The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel.” (Isaiah 7: 14) It was clear that the fulfillment of Isaiah’s prophecy in the birth of his son was a type, and the anti-type was Jesus the Messiah. While Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz was a sign guaranteeing GOD’s temporary salvation of Judah, Jesus Christ – the true Immanuel – embodied the ultimate and eternal salvation of GOD’s chosen ones from sin and death.
