:: DAY 3 of the Scripture Challenge - He will raise you on eagles wings “Because he[b] loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles ------------------------------------------------------------- A favourite song of mine is loosely based on the Psalm of Protection and Isaiah 40:31. I turn to these not only during times of hardship, but also during times when I am confronted by a chorus of naysayers who claim certain good works cannot be done. That happens 4 out of 5 times. I give them the benefit of the doubt - perhaps it is not their time to share yet - but it certainly wears you out. It is then that I recall these verses, to protect me from weariness. Today, I nominate my aunt Gb / Gb to this 7-day Scripture Challenge. Ive long admired you for the good work you do, and for the generous sharing of your time to do volunteer work :) I hope in time I can emulate your spirit of volunteerism :) youtube/watch?v=O7FbycDXxXk
