DAY 5: DRAMA MINISTERS 40 DAYS PRAYER AND FASTING. WHAT A WASTE ON JESUS! 7a woman came to Him having an alabaster flask of very costly fragrant oil, and she poured it on His head as He sat at the table. 8But when His disciples saw it, they were indignant, saying, “Why this waste? 9For this fragrant oil might have been sold for much and given to the poor.” 10But when Jesus was aware of it, He said to them, “Why do you trouble the woman? For she has done a good work for Me. 13Assuredly, I say to you, wherever this gospel is preached in the whole world, what this woman has done will also be told as a memorial to her.” Matthew 26:7-10,13 A woman came with a very costly ointment she had bought with almost a whole year salary, because the Gospel of LUKE said the disciples mentioned that the fragrance oil was worth 300. She came with this very costly material, and broke the flask and poured it on the head of JESUS. .....everything. Then, she attracted a lot of criticism for wasting such a costly thing on JESUS Christ. then JESUS arose for her defense and said she has done a very good work on Him. Then, the Master proclaimed: .....wherever this gospel is preached in the whole world, what this woman has done will also be told as a memorial to her. And that was it! The Master had opened the Door of Global Recognition for her....for wasting her resources on JESUS...She suddenly became famous from then onward. In my few years of service in Drama Ministry, I have learnt that no amount of money you spent on JESUS is a waste. I have equally learnt that no material sacrifice you put into this work amount to a waste. When you put in your best on stage drama and acted with all your life while some other members put on a nonchalant attitude,...when you keep spending your little resources to buy stage costumes and props for the Drama Group while others are clinging on to their own money, and taking you for a fool, your spending is not a waste. When you spend a lot of money on costumes, props, and productions of your movie to give JESUS your best, while others are used to making floppy-flappy, half-cooked, half-baked christian movies...You are pouring your Costly Ointment on JESUS. When you spent hundreds of thousands to make a christian movie, only to send it to many TV, Cables and Satellite channels form our broadcast to millions of people, for their healing, deliverance and salvation....You only lavishing your resources on JESUS. When many film evangelists pick your very costly gospel movies and head to film outreaches in churches, prisons, villages and missions, without paying you for the infringement, or giving any compensation,......You are only wasting your sweats on The Master - JESUS. And when you suddenly discover your movie placed on YouTube by someone you knew not for several millions to watch, which will somehow indirectly diminish your marketing proceeds and you are not at Godly liberty to do anything against it....it is not a wasteful venture, but a Godly waste of your Fragrance oil on the KING. This is one of the secrets of OPEN DOOR in Drama Ministry....Giving into the Field...Sowing into the missions....Planting movies on out reaches and on TV for souls...it provokes RENEWAL OF COVENANT of Global Recognition and Massive Open Door in ministry. Therefore, when we are braising up for OPEN DOOR in 2014, it must go with some necessary supportive ACTIONS, like the woman who poured her costly Fragrance oil on JESUS Christ. No HARVESTING without a previous PLANTING. No REAPING without an earlier SOWING...it is not foolishness....it is not economic wastage....it is not spiritual ignorance...it is Godly Wisdom. (Genesis 8:22) While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest,Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease.” This is one of the Secrets of the Drama Ministers YEAR OF OPEN DOOR.
