DAY 5: POPPY IS REALLY SETTLING IN! Last night Poppy went in her crate and went right to sleep, no restlessness! Shes really getting used to our routines and becoming quite comfortable! Then we wake up and she poops and pees outside...only one accident inside and it happened when I was at work!!!!! Woop! Now that is progress! Got home and she joined the other dogs acting all crazy excited, jumping on my legs, tail wagging a hundred miles an hour and she readily accepted my pets. She still cowls & submits but this time she didnt! My heart was soooo warmed! We played some and she just loves her stuffingless squirrel tossing it about! I toss it and she loves going for it...now if only shed bring it back, lol! Finally, take a peak at the picture with her laying next to Dozer! Dozer is a grumpy boy but with Poppy, hes so great! At one point he even lost his mind and began playing with her for a few seconds when she prompted him! It was the cutest thing and a first for all the fosters Ive had! And in the pic...you can see how truly teeny tiny she is! Its like Wheres Waldo...can you even see her on that pillow? ha! PLEASE...IF UR IN THE MARKET FOR A DOG/PUPPY...SAVE A LIFE AND CHOOSE A RESCUE! ...AND PLEASE DONT EVER BUY FROM A PUPPY STORE OR PET STORE! THESE BABIES ARE THE PRODUCT OF PUPPY MILLS AND COME FROM FUR-PARENTS WHO ARE ABUSED & NEGLECTED! THE ONLY WAY TO STOP THEM IS NOT TO BUY THEM!!!! xoxo
