DC for D-Day? Hey, who doesnt want to celebrate a WWII - TopicsExpress

DC for D-Day? Hey, who doesnt want to celebrate a WWII anniversary in some way? Even if youre not commemorating ye olde Normandy invasion…I found a faboo luxe bargain in our nations capitol. Park Hyatt Washington, D.C. is offering a rate of $299/night for 3 nights…but you get one night FREE. P.S. FREE is the best possible word in all of traveldom. The rate was $249/night on Expedia (just for the room), but a little visit to the Hyatt website revealed that $299 -- a AAA special of some kind -- gets you room, PLUS breakfast for two, PLUS free internet. So for 3 nights, thats $600 total (plus tax) -- a $150 savings over the Expedia rate, not including whatever youd spend for 3 breakfasts and internet. And the Park Hyatt is super-fancois, just the way I like it. Heres the hotel link, in case anyones feeling patriotic, along with a Diva reminder: do your research on Expedia, then go to the hotel chains website, as odds are you could do much better there.
