DDC Shopian reviews opening of Mughal Road SHOPIAN, MAY 29: The District Development Commissioner, Shopian, Mr. Bashir Ahmad Bhat today chaired a high level meeting of Sectoral Officers to review the progress achieved for opening of Mughal Road and was discussed threadbare. Besides, other officers Superintending Engineer EM&RE, Executive Engineer R&B, Animal and Sheep Husbandry, CA&PD and Municipal Committee Shopian were also present in the meeting. The District Development Commissioner Shopian directed the Executive Officer, Municipal Committee Shopian to lift and dispose of the dead sheep animals on road side of Mughal Road which got killed due to heavy rains and Medical Superintendent District Hospital, Shopian was directed to attend Dobijan Medical Camp in order to treat the eye flue patients. The District Development Commissioner Shopian also discussed the lighting system on road side of Mughal Road and it was assured that lighting system will be commissioned by June 20, 2014.
