DDC launches tourism logo & calendar of LSDA KATHUA, MARCH 05-District Development Commissioner, Kathua, Jitendra Kumar Singh launched the annual calendar & logo of Lakhanpur Sarthal Development Authority today . Additional District Development Commissioner Kathua, N S Bali, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Prasanna Ramaswami G, Chief Executive Officer Lakhanpur Sarthal Development Authority, Dr Bharat Bushan and Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Suraj Rakwal and district officers were present on the occasion. Dr Bhushan told that the authority since, its inception in 2005-2006 has come up with its calendar for the first time and hoped to make it annual feature. Speaking on the occasion, DDC appreciated the initiative of LSDA to have its own logo which will give distinct identity to the authority and calendar will help in promoting tourism in the district to . He said that the district has vast tourism potential which needs to be harnessed so that more employment avenues are created for local unemployed youth.
