DDC reviews functioning of RDD KISHTWAR, SEPTEMBER 20 – District Development Commissioner, Kishtwar, Baseer Ahmed Khan reviewed the functioning of Rural Development Department with focus on schemes like MGNREGA, IAY etc. He also directed the MEN Rural Engineering Wing to prepare a performa indicating all the projects undertaken and ensure proper furnishing of all records of the assets created under various schemes.He stressed on involving the stake holders in proper implementation of the schemes for development of the district. He directed the officers to convene regular meetings at Panchayat level for preparation of development plans of 14 departments. Khan directed the concerned officers to ensure time bound completion of development projects like construction of Panchayat Ghars. He cautioned the officers against any laxity in this regard.
