DEAF AND DUMB, OR JUST - WELL ??? Gov. Rick Scott my say he is here to listen, but will someone take the blinders off of him. A short article in the CCC 11/16/13 stated state parks, and trails draw 25 million visitors which in turn generated an economic impact of $1.2 Billion during the last fiscal year. ALSO, a recent study by the East Central Florida Regional Planning Council found that three trails in Orange County alone( Little Econ, West Orange and Cady Way) alone yielded an economic benefit to the county of $42.6 million in 2010 and supported 516 jobs. Maybe we should make sure Gov. Rick Scott, or his advisers, understand the simplicity of old time math. The hand writing is on the wall. Ah Ha! Back to the blinders. Although this isnt enough to prevent Governor Rick Scott from line-item vetoing the $50 million allocation needed to complete the highly anticipated 275 mile Coast to Coast Connector from St Pete to Titusville.
