DEANNA UPDATE: Consultation with Surgeon We saw the Cat Scan picture of Deannas brain...It is confirmed as we suspected , she has one...The problem is she also has a rather large cyst too. They believe that the cyst is pressing on nerves and shutting down her hands,leg and foot function mode. I have noted when they tell us that they practice medicine it is very true ..There is a lot of trail and error ... They no longer believe that Deanna had a stroke..but that this cyst has caused the body to react like a stroke.. the good news is that there is no brain damage.... So now , Deanna will be admitted the hospital....and they are going to experiment and temporarily drain the cyst.. The doctor has no way of knowing if this is going to fix her growing paralysis but he believes it will...he has no way of knowing until he begins the process. She will be in the hospital intensive care for about a week for this process...If it is successful, they will go in and remove a portion of the brains lining and put in a more permanent drain. Deanna is currently taking a powerful blood thinner . that she cant no longer take because of the surgery so she will be off of this for a week then they wil scedual the brain surgery thing ... The doctor ways this is not a serious thing ( but it is unusual ) The intensive care thing is a precaution.... So again we wait ....kinda make a mess out of summer ....but it would be sonice of Deanna has use of her hands and can walk better again.
