❣❣❣ DEAR FEMME PROJECT ❣❣❣ (or the things I learned while being Femme) I think as Femmes sometimes we are lucky enough to be surrounded by Femme community and sometimes we are little islands in the biggo Queer community without touchstones. I have been wanting to put a book together that we can share with all Femmes. There are a couple of guidelines so please read before you post. 1. Every persons experience is valid, so if someone posts something that you dont agree with, dont like or dont believe just keep reading. This is not a thread to discuss their experience. You may, however, open ANOTHER thread to discuss the content of a comment as long as you do so respectfully. 2. DO NOT be ageist. There is wisdom all up and down the chain of Femme. I know I am constantly learning from younger Femmes and I hope I am able to share some of the things I learned not only with my peers but with Femmes younger than myself. 3. Post your comments below and please be respectful, share YOUR experience only and please do not make sweeping generalizations. There are sooooooo many different kinds of Femme and we should all embrace that diversity. 4. If you comment in this thread you are acknowledging that the Femme Collective can you use your words (we will attribute them to you or you can choose to be anonymous) to share with people outside the Femme Collective like, but not limited to, blog posts, printed versions etc. I will start to give you an idea of the format in the next comment. I hope you all will share. I think this could be an amazing resource for Femmes.
