DEAR ISIS: Islam is not about veils, beards, circumcision, FGM, cutting off of hands, stoning people to death, honour killings, summary executions, blowing up tombs, burning churches, imposing your religion upon others, converting people to Islam by force, etc. Its about providing leadership to establish a new world order based on justice and not double standards. Its about seeking knowledge and educating the masses. Its about assisting the poor and needy, reducing poverty and helping people who are oppressed. Its about healing the sick, caring for the orphan, the homeless and the destitute. its about removing the scourge of interest and gambling and establishing an economic system based on equity and not exploitation. Its about forgiveness, forgiving your enemy and turning the other cheek. Its following the example set by Muhammad (pbuh), Abraham (pbuh), Moses (pbuh) and Jesus (pbuh).
