MISS TOURISM ZIMBABWE: Gamucharai Kujeke(19) She is Miss Carnival,an equivalent of Miss Tourism. The Miss Carnival is the flagship pageant in Zimbabwe. Kujeke is a radio presenter on Spot Fm. In an interview before she travelled to Malaysia, the 19-year-old model said she was ready for the pageant and promised to bring the crown home. This is my dream come true. I started the preparations three months ago and have been also working with different designers. I am happy that my portfolio has grown and I hope this years crown will come to Zimbabwe, she said Kujeke is one of the youngest models to represent Zimbabwe in an international pageant. She was crowned Miss Carnival Queen at the age of 18 shrugging off stiff competition from 15 other contestants. For her emphatic victory as queen of the ramp, Kujeke walked away with US$20 000 cash and a Jaguar S-Type vehicle for use during her reign. However, Kujeke will have to aim higher after her predecessor, Dananai Chipunza, earned a place in the top 10 when she participated at the same event in Malaysia in 2013. #
