DECREES AND DECLARATIONS FOR YEAR 2014 (By Alice Chege) via e-mail We need to change the style of praying by speaking positive words over our lives and the lives of others. Year 2014 is still very young, a year of thanksgiving for what the Lord is going to do in our lives, a year when our enemies will be defeated and destroyed completely. We need not rest because our enemy the devil does not rest, he is roaring like a lion looking for someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8). We will start making decrees and declarations of how we want to live our lives according to the Word of God. When you speak a prophetic declaration, you speak it in the present, as if you already have it (Mark 11:23-24). Note and understand that your present declarations are becoming your future manifestations. What you say today is creating your tomorrow. If you want to change your tattered ugly life, it is time to change what you are saying about yourself. There are times when you are sick, do not say that “I am very sick” because you are speaking defeat into your future. Instead, declare victory by saying, I may not feel one hundred per cent, but God is restoring health to me, do not say “I am old”, instead, say that you are getting stronger, healthier and youngerevery day, my best days are here. Mark 11:24, this verse states that whatever we desire, when we pray, we should believe that we receive them and we shall have them. You should Walk like you build your Maisonette house at Runda, Thika Greens, Indian Ocean Beach in Mombasa, Dance like you bought aToyota Prado Model TX, Toyota Fortuner 4 X 4, Work like you are working in a Field Mission, Give thanks to God like you gave birth to Isaac, Samuel and John, Praise and worship God like never before because you are free from witchcraft, Run like your body is healthy and no longer oppressed by diseases, Behave like a wealthy & prosperous man and woman of God, Shout with joy because your children have graduated from reputable universities, Happy because the Lord has blessed them with good heavy salaried jobs, ALL because in your spirit it is already done! God gives us the power to decree and declare –The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit (Proverbs 18:21). Job 22:28 says we can decree a thing and it will be established unto us and the light shall shine upon our ways. Before we continue, let me first explain the meaning of these two words: Decree – Is to give an official order given by a person with power. The decree comes from the living Word of God our Father who has power over the whole world and what is in it; Declare – Is to announce openly, to begin a hot prayer campaign to get rid of something you do not want in your life, to fight for something you need in your life or other people’s lives. Make sure that you continue with the fight until you get the answer which is the fruit. Here below are a few of the decrees and declarations for year 2014: • My Heavenly Father, I decree and declare that I am like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, I am yielding fruit in season – NOW, THIS IS MY SEASON; my leaf does not wither and in whatever I do, I prosper (Psalm 1:3); • Father in the name of Jesus, I decree and declare that because of your stripes I am healed (Isaiah 53:5); • I decree and declare that the fruit of my womb isblessed,I am set high above all the nations on earth. I will beblessed when I go out and when I come in and am granted abundant prosperity. I will be a giver and not a borrower, my enemies who rise against me from one direction will flee from me in seven ways (Deutronomy 28:1-14); • I decree and declare that I will remain confident of this and see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living (Psalm 27:13); • Lord Jesus, I decree and declare that you have good plans for me, plans to prosper and not to harm me, plans to give me hope and a future(Jeremiah 29:11); • Lord Jesus, I decree and declare that the silver is mine and the gold is mine, I will use this wealth to travel to all parts of the world, New York, Sao Paulo, Las Vegas, Tokyo, London, Sydney and Cairo for business, mission, leisure and shopping in Jesus Name. I will proclaim your goodness to the nations and preach to them what the bible says about sins and forgiveness of sins to be saved(Haggai 2:8); • I decree and declare that whatever I lay my hands on shall be blessed, whatever I ask for in prayer shall come to pass, whoever I lay my hands on shall be healed and delivered for no matter how many promises God has made, they are ‘Yes’ in ChristJesus (2 Corinthians 1:20); • I decree and declare that the Lord will connect me to the right partner in my marriage and will bless us with good obedient children, both girls and boys (Genesis 2:18); • I decree and declare that 2014 is a year of GET BACK of all what I lost when the locust swarm ate my crops, the flowers of my crops will never fall again before they bear fruits.I will be paid one hundredfold of what I lost during the previous years, my cup will overflow with milk and honey and my enemies who laughed at me during depression will testify that my God is Great (Joel 2:25); • Lord Jesus, I decree and declare that you will wipe out the sins of my household when they repent and cry upon that Mighty Name which is above all names on earth and in heaven and have eternal life through Salvation (Acts:3:19); • I decree and declare that the Peace of God which surpasses human understanding will guard my heart and my mind in Jesus Name (Philippians 4:7); • Lord Jesus, I decree and declare that you have raised Abishai son of Zeruiah of our time to fight and rescue us at Springs of Life Deliverance Ministries (SLDM) to fight for your people who are chased by the devil and are rescued by your servant Pastor Charles Mwaura whom you anointed with your powers to see through prayers, visions and dreams.
