DEEP THOUGHTS: So the sad thing about being a workaholic, overachiever, flim flam artist, creative, etc (whatever you want to label me) is the only time you actually rest (mentally, physically, and emotionally) is when you are down for the count due to illness, sickness, and/or virus. In truth, I dont get sick very often but when I do, my body takes advantage of the situation... Now, the only positive thing about the whole ordeal is that it gives me a chance to think and contemplate about my life and strategize in regards to my business (yes, while sweating / freezing, simultaneously, with the occasional vomiting and dry heaving, you do have moments of clarity within the foggy haze.) So, what I discovered is that I am grateful for all of my family, friends, associates, and colleagues. I am glad to have made it to a New Year. It is awesome to have a technology and live in an Age where I have known people from around this nation and world, literally, for years but have never met them face to face. We have seen each other grow in thought processes, maturity, family, relationships, and business. We have, also, experienced each others loss when it came to family members, relationships, careers, and more. We went from the rotary phone chatlines to MSN Chat Rooms to MySpace to Facebook to LinkedIn and never skipped a beat. Many of us are nowhere near where we started from and yet have a LONG way to go and I am just glad to accompany many of you all and have you all accompany me through the magical connection of social media. So, all in all, I just want everyone to know I AM STILL STANDING and I AM STANDING WITH YOU and will SUPPORT YOU! Because I know YOU can do whatever you want and CREATE whatever you desire. I am living proof. Nope, its not perfect and there will always be trials and tribulations, but in the end, we all can make it to the end of the race and I will be happy to greet you as we cross the finish line together. - CARPE DIEM in 2015 / Alfonso Todd III
